An attempt to transcribe Alex’s rant.
Alexandra: “I think the biggest issue in the house at the moment is the lack of courtesy and a lack of respect like, you know, if you want to play games with food we should play games with food at home. We shouldn’t play games with food in the house when we’re all under rations, like, these things make me very, very vocal.”
Rebecca: “If we agree to let Rex cook the actual meals then, because like you said earlier on, I’m not happy with stepping up on but I like you said earlier but I didn’t want to, like, not do anything and people saying like ‘ooh you haven’t been helping’ and stuff.”
Sylvia: “Yeah, but who cares though, who cares what people are gonna say.”
Rebecca: “Yeah, I know, but I wanted to help and I really apologise for cooking the chips wrong.”
Rachel: “Don’t apologise, Becks, you tried. It wasn’t very good. Fair enough, but you tried”.
Rebecca: “I didn’t like purposely, purposely do it. I thought well if I help it’s helping out a little bit.”
Alexandra: “Well let’s be realistic, I can actually cook. I can cook very very well, but why am I cooking if there is a chef in the house that can cook and can actually cater for sixteen people. When I’m at home I don’t cook for sixteen people. I’m not going to start cooking because, you know, I want to try and I want people to see that I can try, fuck that, I don’t really care what everyone thinks.”
Rebecca: “I wasn’t doing it so that people would say ‘oh, she’s helping’ and stuff’ I was genuinely doing it because I wanted to help out”.
Alexandra: “Yeah, but you do know what’s helping out because you’re old enough to know what helping out is.”
Rachel: “She tried.”
Alexandra: “No, but I’m just saying, I’m not genning(?) her.”
“Excuse me, I’m answering her because she’s asking me a question, and if she says something I’ll answer her back, init, that’s how a conversation works, like getting up and, like, trying to play the martyr, like, trying to defend anyone. You might as well just sit back babes, that shit isn’t going to wash round me, you understand what I’m saying Rachel attempts to talk Yeah I understand that she tried. I understand that she tried. I’m not disrespecting the fact that she tried at all, but what I’m saying is what is helping.”
Kathreya says something about everyone having their own opinions.
Alexandra: “Exactly, and in the same manner I’ll express how I feel so everyone that’s got a problem with it should be big enough to say so. Don’t mutter under your breath and fold your arms to Stephanie it looks simple, remember I told you.”
Stephanie: “Sorry, I didn’t even ’ear you.”
Alexandra: “I said don’t mutter under your breath. I mean, act like you’ve got a problem with it. If you’ve got a problem with it you should just say it out loud.”
Stephanie: “I did say out loud and then you said that’s how a conversation works.”
Alexandra: “It’s simple. People sitting here acting like dickheads, like playing the simple person. Don’t go on like you don’t understand. You understand what’s being said. Don’t play it like ‘oh you’re being too harsh’, no you’re making me be harsh.”
Rachel says something about expressing her opinion rather than just sitting there.
Alexandra: “You can cast your opinion, we’re all casting out opinion, but then you’re flipping it, like, ‘yeah, but she only made chips’. Don’t go on like you don’t understand what I’m saying. You really understand what I’m saying.”
Rachel says that she feels for someone like Becks who just tried to make cook for all of them.
Alexandra: “We’re not having a go at Becks. We addressed a point and because you Rachel dwelled on it I had to keep addressing the point and then you Stephanie dwelled on it so I keep addressing the point. You’re going on like I’m being too harsh. I addressed it once, hold on, I addressed it once but because you Rachel want to get involved and go on talking about it I’ll address it to you as well and explain to you, and because you Stephanie want to get involved and talk about it too, I’ll explain it to you personally. If you don’t want to act thick then I wouldn’t have to keep harboursic on about.”
Rachel says about caring about someone’s feelings.
Alexandra: “Okay, excellent, pat on the back for you, standing ovation. Moving back to the point, Rex, I’m more than happy for you to do the cooking.”
Rex says something about when the next budget’s coming.
Rebecca says she “didn’t want to come in here for arguments”.
Alexandra: “Well, if you can’t handle it, see ya.”
Rebecca continues saying that “I can’t handle people arguing”.
Alexandra: “No one’s not arguing. People are making it a argument. It’s all the pussy footing around like ooo, uh, uh, uh, uhh. We live in the real fucking world. People don’t talk like that to people all the time and if you feel like I’m talking to you in a way I’ll stop talking to you in a way and then you’ll see the difference in the two.”
Rebecca tries to apologise again.
Alexandra: “What you apologising for? It was chips, like I said to you it was chips. I spoke to you about the chips. You’re still apologising. Rebecca keeps trying to speak. But you’re still apologising. What are you saying sorry for? Move on swiftly. Just move on, that’s what I want you to do. Swiftly move on. Rex please.”
Rex, he says that it’s best if everyone agrees on what they do with the food. He says “there’s no point in someone just winging it in the kitchen”.
Alexandra: “That is a very valid point and I’m on board with it”.
Rachel and Rebecca leave. Alexandra then starts on Stephanie.
Stephanie: “Why are you making such a huge thing about it?”
Alexandra: “What do you mean making such a huge thing about it.” She says something about not shutting up and calls Stephanie a dickhead and a prick.
Alexandra tells Stephanie she will never be “ready”.
Kathreya: “it jus’ a misunderstanding. Calm down”.

Alexandra tells Stephanie to get a book to find out what “ready” means.

I looked it up in the Urban Dictionary. (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=READY)

I wonder if Alexandra is missing definition 2.

If I'd been in there I think I would have told Alex to STFU.

And if she didn't I think I would have thrown a bucket of cold water over her. :p

If only Rebecca had cooked those oven chips properly.

I can’t believe that people just sat round and let her go on. All that ranting and she was actually saying nothing. She had an issue with Rebecca for burning the chips and attempting to do something she couldn’t do, but that was dropped. And then she had an issue with Rachel for defending Rebecca, then it went on to Stephanie for muttering. Alexandra certainly knew how to move on. To move on from one person to another in picking and argument.

That's what bullies do.

I really can't stand Alex, she reminds me of Grace, in that I wanna hurl things at my telly, because of the bollocks that comes out of her mouth!!
