View Full Version : What "did you want to be" when you was younger?
I went through a faze of wanting to own a stationery shop - but soon grew out of that.
I wouldn't say I'm doing what I want now - but at least I'm working for myself and enjoy it (most of the time!)
So what did you want to be? Job wise, obviously.

I wanted to be a journalist. I also wanted to write. At one stage I wanted to run my own bookshop.
I quite like the idea of running my own gay nightclub hehehehehe.

That's something I've thought about doing, actually. All that disposable income :D

I have a thing for DIY shops. If I have my Crip mobile I could spend hours in them, looking at stuff lol especially the big warehouse ones.

I wanted to be a vet because I love animals, but I went off it when I realised it would involve looking after animals in pain.

I went through phases. I was very keen on the idea of being a teacher when I was very young. I quickly realised I didn't like other children very much - vicious creatures - so I then set my sights on being an author. I managed to write a few short stories and some poetry but then I lost interest when I joined college and decided that being a director would be quite interesting. Then I realised I didn't like actors very much - vicious creatures.
Then when I left college I got into IT as it interested me at the time. Doesn't any more and I am re-training. I will probably change my mind again in 5 years. :p
