Nice or ugly?

It seems to me most objections to windmills are because "they blot the landscape".

However, remember when satellite television was a new thing, people were objecting to 'ugly' satellite dishes? Now hardly anyone is bothered about them, 'cos we are used to seeing them. I am sure people used to object to tv aerials on roofs as well.

I don't mind them.

There's a huge one about 40+ miles away from where I live - I think it looks nice and modern.

I look forward to the "wind tax".

We can see some offshore wind farms from where we live if you get high enough I think they are beautiful, ethereal, serene.
