Do you have sympathy for obese people? I do, I think they must have rotten lives or they wouldn't eat so much and harm themselves in that way. I don't mean those people who are a bit plump or put on a few pounds every now and then, I mean those who are medically obese because they eat far too much.

I don't think there's anyone here who is obese, maybe a bit overweight but not to the extent that they eat so much that they are dangerously obese.

You often talk about your weight, but you're not obese, you just want to lose a bit of weight. Loads of people put on weight, it's not difficult to do that, but most people draw the line when they get to a certain weight and decide to do something about it. I just wonder how people can get to the stage where they are so fat they have to have medical procedures to help them lose weight.

Stomach stapling can be dangerous as well. I was reading a story in the paper the other day about how a woman died after having it done. Tragic it was. She had it done because she didn't want her son to have the embarrassment of having an obese mother. He doesn't have a mother at all now though.

I know. I just think that their family and friends can't care about them very much to let them get in that state or encourage them by feeding them. They must eat huge amounts of food all day long. When you're obese it actually takes a lot of calories for your body just to survive - more than a thin person, so they must really just stuff their faces all day long.
