View Full Version : News channels
I tend to stick with the Beeb, I like the fact that they confirm stories with other news agencies rather than ploughing right in without getting the facts like Sky news do.

I like Sky News nothing like Eamon Holmes perving over the women co-presenters first thing in the morning :D

I don't bother watching the news any more. I get everything I need from the internet

I used to like Sky News cos they seemed to be ahead of everyone else in reporting, but then again they did get some things wrong. I used to like that chap with the Skystrater - Frances Tusa, Adam Boulton, who did the politics, and David somebody who reported during the Iraq war - he was quite fit. They did have that annoying "breaking news" thingy though that used to make a silly noise all the time.
I watch the BBC now, but only because it's the only 24-news channel I have these days!

Just looked it up. It was David Chater I was thinking of, but I like David Bowden as well. How does your mother know him?

He's romantically involved (or at least was) with one of her friends.
I usually go to the Internet - the BBC website.
But I also watch the ITV News at Ten because I think the journalism is really good.

I get my rolling news from the radio, mostly, and switch to tv if there is big story where pictures can tell the story better - such as earthquakes or Olympic torch protests ;)
