Apparently, when they released Lonely This Christmas they didn't intend it to be taken seriously but everybody loved it!

Here's Milli Vanilli. The track's not embarrassing as such, in fact it's one of my faves. They were infamous because at a live concert the tape got stuck and they were forced to admit they weren't actually singing on the single.

One of them died of an overdose in 1998 so it must have been a while back when you saw that. Did you see them actually trying to sing? What were they like?

It was on one of those compilation programmes. Embarrassing Moments from 90s or something.

Aww, that's a shame.

There was a huge fuss about it at the time but I didn't really care if they were singing or not. I love that track and they're both very easy on the eye, so who cares? :D

Wasn't there another situation involved Black Box and Ride On Time? I seem to remember there were claims that the girl in that group wasn't singing either.
