Some of us may have to tighten our belts this Xmas due to the economic downturn, others of us will not need or want to,
is it such a bad thing? I think not.
Over the years my wife in particular has been very wasteful, the kids semi wasteful and myself reasonably frugal.
The amounts we have thrown away is quite disgraceful.
While the kids were little we went over the top.
My wife has been buying as if the kids have still been living with us for years instead of cutting back on everything really hard now there is only 2 of us.
It is coincidental that this year we will only have just enough to see us enjoy ourselves without much waste, first time sensible for years.
Are you wasteful.
Are you cutting back for any reason.
We will do our usual good deed over Xmas giving several food parcels to needy people through a registered organized group. We like doing this because we know they definitely get it and it is not fiddled.
Do you do any special charitable deeds leading up to or over Xmas?
