Personally I say bollocks to it I will not be forced to drive a little diesel box or some wheezy old petrol thing and to hell with the planet and the cost.

My car's already very small but it's an automatic so it seems to use quite a lot of petrol. I don't use it much already so I won't be chaning it. I'll just let it fall to bits like all my other cars have and then I might not bother getting another one.

There's no reason why fuel should be so expensive in this country. Most of the cost here is tax - so the govt should reduce it and cap the cost.

I must admit I am struggling to put fuel in my car, I would concider going smaller if needs be.

I can see the decent smaller cars that have better fuel-economy and attract less tax, holding their depreciation values better.
