Nadal wins the French Open today.
Poor Roger, he needed this to be undisputed greatest of all time.
This now means Borg's 4-in-a-row French, as well as his 5-in-a-row Wimbledon, have now been equalled.
Roll on Wimbers. :)

I don't like the tennis much either. I wouldn't mind if there was something to actually watch, but it's all aces and power shots or whatever these days, so each point only lasts about two seconds which means that most of the games consists of the audience clapping and cheering all the time. Plus, I really can't stand all that shrieking that the women do. AND the same people always seem to win.
Bah! If only we'd qualified for the football!

I only watch the mens game. I don't like watching shrieking grunting girls either.
There's less aces since they slowed up the ball. Also on slower clay there's a lot more rallies.
Agree about the same peeps winning - but you could say that about football too, same teams win all the trophies ie. Man U or Chelsea, Celtic or Rangers.

Have they slowed up the ball? I didn't know that - that's a bloody good idea!
I don't watch football normally, only the international competitions. The winners are usually different teams - the only thing one can be sure of is that England are unlikely to win ever again! :D

Yeah they did something to the balls to make them travel slower (reduced the pressure or something). And they also planted a slower kind of grass.:D
