Nope. I've not yet bothered to take my test. So, legally I cannot drive :D

I suggest you should take the test sooner rather than later, before they make the test even harder, as well as preventing parental tuition practice, so you have to spend even more money learning to drive.

And there's talk that they are planning to introduce compulsory probation for new drivers for the first year after passing. Although i do think that is a good idea in terms of road safety, as most accidents are caused by inexperienced young drivers.

At the moment, I have no reason to drive - as I work from home - and usually walk or get the bus to places I want to go. It's so much cheaper!

I agree but it would be useful to have a licence, you never know when it might come in handy.

I am just thinking the test could be made a lot harder to pass in future. Besides the fact that the younger you are, the quicker you pick up new practical skills. And of course the costs of lessons and test fees can only rise.

Even if you don't have your own car, it gives you the option to hire one as necessary. Or when you go on holiday, to have an airport rental car for convenience.
